What do you mean by this? Why is honesty best in a relationship? What if hiding things from people keeps me out of trouble?
What we mean is that integrity is the best way to go in a relationship which means that your partner deserves to know the truth. No matter how much it will hurt, the person deserves the right to get the most honest feedback. Not telling your partner the truth might end up hurt both of you in the long run because your partner might find out and be more mentally hurt that you hid the truth from them, then when you tell them at the time and they feel good because you told them the truth and they can trust you. The truth hurts, but hearing the truth and being able to accept it, is a key in any relationship.
